Whitney Carswell

I've been horse-crazy for as long as I can remember! I started riding around 2nd grade, which I continued for the better part of 18 years. Horses were my life! Fast forward to 2022 when I realized that I did very little to refill my proverbial cup and was feeling burnt out. I searched for a way to get involved with horses again though riding wasn't an option and came across a VEWS ad. I officially became a VEWS volunteer in October 2022. VEWS has given me an amazing opportunity to reconnect with horses and other volunteers who understand that a love for horses never really goes away. Now I get to serve as an Adoptions Coordinator with an amazing team. Getting to match our horses with their forever families is a truly unique experience. I'm so thankful to VEWS for allowing me to fill my cup through good work for horses in need!
