I have loved horses for as long as I can remember. When I was younger I took lessons for a short period but most of my time with horses was through books and TV. I decided to start volunteering at VEWS to get myself out of the house but did not expect something that would bring me so much joy. Volunteering at VEWS has given me a sense of purpose and I’m so grateful for it. Even though I’m a beginner when it comes to taking care of horses, I am always trying to learn as much as I can so I’m able to do the best for our herd.
