Ginger

Ginger arrived at VEWS in the Fall as an owner surrender.  This very sweet girl loves attention and grooming.  She nickers when she sees you and is easy to catch, halter, and lead.  

   With the assistance of our vet and farrier, Ginger is working through chronic laminitis in both front hooves.  We will continue helping her thicken her front soles with the plan to shoe her when she's ready.  Ginger has the potential to be a nice, light riding horse, but is a lovable companion and herd mate right now.  She is up to date on Coggins, immunizations, worming, and dental care.

   Ginger is looking for someone to help her on her journey to reach her full potential.  Her new family must understand the next steps in her hoof care and be willing to assist.  We are more than happy to answer any questions about Ginger.  Please email at VEWSadopt@gmail.com to learn more.
